I related a lot to your story about always being inappropriate, no way to win. What did the victim to do entice the abuser? Our culture has so much bullshit around gender expectations, our country being founded and run on masculine values. I am done trying to be "nice and pretty" so that I won't get criticized or judged. Writing has helped me a lot to gain respect for my voice and to start curating my social media lists to clear out the people who judge me.
