I have been on both sides of this in meetings, and this standing up for each other makes a world of difference!

I spent nearly a year at my last corporate job, and the environment was full of toxic masculinity. One of my team's leaders often interrupted people in meetings, and it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable.

I shared the experience with some of the women and a few of the men, and I noticed that we had more of a camaraderie in meetings.

I felt so supported when coworkers would do this for me, and I loved doing it for someone else. It brought the inequality front and center for everyone in the room, and I hope made the interrupter recognize what they were doing.
